For Children

Caterpillar’s Kitchen Children’s Cooking Club

“The aim of our cooking club is to allow children an opportunity to explore different foods and cooking techniques, in a relaxed and fun environment and with recipes to tempt even the fussiest of little eaters!”

The Caterpillar’s Kitchen Children’s Cooking Club aims to:
expand knowledge and awareness of food
introduce and develop new cooking skills
encourage experimentation with different foods
have fun!

Our Caterpillar is not only very hungry but also very busy!

We run the Caterpillar’s Kitchen Children’s Cooking Club as an extracurricular club in primary schools but also offer one-off Caterpillar’s Kitchen Fabulous Food Workshops for children and families in schools and in the local community:

“I have loved every single thing, I loved dreamy creamy chicken curry, and I have loved the frittatas, the chunky monkey cookies and the pea pancakes!  I learned loads of interesting facts and learnt loads of new skills!”
Ava, aged 10

“I didn’t know how to cook and I’ve learned to cook: chunky monkey cookies, frittatas, toffee apple pudding, chicken curry, pea pancakes and pumpkin muffins”.

“The best thing is when we get messy!  I learned how to fry and flip pancakes”.  Libby, aged 8
